【4.9更新】论文提交通知/Paper Submission Notice

各位参赛者，
根据ICME2019竞赛组委会的要求，Grand Challenge（以下简称GC）论文投稿的截止时间是**PST时间2019年4月15日23:59（北京时间2019年4月16日 15:59）**。

ICME2019会议论文的格式要求参见ICME竞赛网站（http://www.icme2019.org/paper）。
同时，竞赛论文的要求如下：
1、论文中需要描述提交的模型；
2、论文可以缺少结果部分，可在竞赛结果（private成绩）发布后补充；
3、竞赛论文与普通论文提交截止时间相同，但有更加严格的审核周期；
4、论文提交截止时间与竞赛结果提交截止时间相同，故补充后的论文结果部分应与最后提交结果一致；
5、GC为Workshop的一部分，GC会议包括论文报告（口头或海报）和讨论环节，竞赛的获胜者应在GC会议期间宣布；
6、优质论文将会纳入IEEE Transactions on Multimedia的特殊板块。

论文提交方式：
1、在CMT网站提交https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICME2019
2、同时发送论文附件至AI-Lab-challenge@bytedance.com，并注明赛队名称和队员邮箱

CMT网站论文提交步骤（https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICME2019W/）：
1、进入CMT后，选择【Grand Challenge】
2、在Subject Areas中，勾选竞赛名称【Short Video Understanding】
3、根据要求上传论文

Dear participants,
In accordance with the requirements of ICME2019 Committee, the paper submissions of Grand Challenge are due at **PST 23:59, 15 April 2019 (Beijing time 15:59, 16 April 2019)**.

The format requirements for conference papers are available on the ICME Competition website ( http://www.icme2019.org/paper ).
Some important requirements have been listed below:
1. GC papers should describe the submitted models;
2. Submitted GC papers can optionally have missing results section, which will be completed after GC organizers has completed their evaluations ( private result );
3. GC papers have the same camera-ready deadline as regular papers, but a much tighter review cycle;
4. GC paper submission deadline should coincide with the model submission deadline for GCs;
5. GC organizers should organize accepted GC papers into their own 2-hour GC session in the ICME’19 program, which should include GC paper presentations (oral or poster), followed by a panel or open discussion. Winners of competitions should be announced during the GC sessions;
6. Based on the quality of the accepted GC papers, GC organizers can subsequently submit a proposal for inclusion in special section of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia via expedited reviews. .

How to make a submission
1. Submit on CMT website https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICME2019 ;
2. Also send the paper to AI-Lab-challenge@bytedance.com with your team name and team members' email address.
